Where is White Knight Roadside available?
Memberships cover roadside service across the continental United States. Request service from the app wherever you break down and we dispatch the nearest available White Knight driver or partner provider.
Who counts as a household member\?
Every plan includes household coverage for up to 4 people living at your address. Add them from the app under Account → Household with their name, email and phone; each gets an email invitation to create their own login, can add their own vehicles and can request service against the plan. Covered calls are shared across the household, and only the primary member can change or cancel the plan.
What counts as a "call"\?
One service request that a provider completes: a tow, jump start, lockout, fuel delivery, tire change or winch-out. A request you cancel before a driver is on the way is not counted; one cancelled while the driver is en route, more than 15 minutes after a provider accepted it, is. Auto Platinum, Auto Platinum+, RV Standard and RV Platinum include a set number of covered calls per plan year; the Complete plans are unlimited. Calls you pay for yourself never count against your plan.
Can I cancel a request after I confirm it?
Yes, in the app any time until the driver arrives. Cancelling before a driver is on the way costs nothing and gives the call back. If the driver is already en route and it has been more than 15 minutes since a provider accepted, a cancellation fee applies: the call counts as used on your plan and, if you chose to pay by card, a percentage of the quoted price is charged. The app shows this before you confirm the cancellation. Once the driver has arrived, call 318-759-7619.
Do I have to share my location?
No. Sharing your location is the fastest way to be found, but you can type an address instead, or paste GPS coordinates (for example from a map pin) for a spot that has no street address. Your driver, our dispatchers and your receipt all use exactly what you entered.
Will I get texts or emails about my request?
Only if you turn them on. Email and text alerts are off by default; switch either on under Account → Profile → Alerts to get a message when your driver is on the way, arrives and finishes. The app always shows your request status and driver position whether or not alerts are on.
How far will you tow my vehicle?
Covered tows go to the nearest qualified repair facility that can work on your vehicle, with no mileage cap. If you would rather go to a shop of your choice that is farther away, the app shows the extra per-mile cost before you confirm.
How are the RV plans different from the auto plans\?
RV plans cover everything the auto plans do for every car in your household, and add RV coverage: RV Standard covers towables (travel trailers, pop-ups and utility trailers), while RV Platinum and RV Platinum Complete also cover motorhomes, fifth wheels and toy haulers. All RV plans include mobile mechanic service and trip interruption.
How does the first-year price work\?
New members get off. On an annual plan the discount applies to your first annual payment; on a monthly plan it applies to your first 12 monthly payments. After that the regular price applies. The discount is applied automatically at sign-up.
Can I cancel\?
Yes, in the app at any time under Account → Membership. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep your coverage until then. Fees already paid are not refunded.
Can I switch between monthly and annual billing, or change plans\?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or change your billing interval in the app. Changing the interval re-anchors your billing to that day and the difference is prorated.
What are the reimbursement caps\?
Trip interruption reimburses lodging, meals and transportation after a covered breakdown more than 100 miles from home, up to the cap on your plan (Auto Platinum+: $1,000; Auto Platinum Complete: $1,000; RV Standard: $1,000; RV Platinum: $1,500; RV Platinum Complete: $1,500). Tire & wheel protection covers a tire or wheel damaged by a road hazard, up to $500 on Auto Platinum Complete and $750 on RV Platinum Complete, twice per plan year. Caps are per incident.
How do I file a reimbursement claim and how long does it take\?
In the app go to Account → Reimbursement claims, choose the claim type, enter the incident date and amount, and attach your receipts (PDF, JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to five files). Claims are reviewed within 5 business days and approved amounts are paid by check or digital payment.
What if no driver is available?
Most requests are accepted within minutes. If no provider can be found we tell you in the app and the request is cancelled at no charge and without using a covered call. You can retry, or call us at 318-759-7619 and we will work the request by hand.
Can I get a packet for my insurance company?
Yes. If your auto insurance includes roadside coverage, ask in the app after any paid service and we email you a receipt and claim letter addressed to the claims contact you provide. Whether your insurer reimburses you is between you and your insurer.
Do I have to be a member to request service\?
No. You can request service in the app without a plan and pay the price shown for that call. A membership makes covered calls free and discounts anything beyond your plan.
Do I need the app, or can I use a computer?
Either. The same login works in the White Knight Roadside app and in your browser at app.wkroadss.com, where you can request service, track and cancel a request, see your history, manage vehicles, household members, alerts, your plan and payment cards, and file claims.
How do I pay for a call?
Choose cash or card when you request service; the price shows before you confirm. Cash is paid to the driver when the job is complete. Cards are only charged when the job is complete, and never for a request that is cancelled because no driver could be found. Members pick their membership price (covered calls show $0, extra calls carry the plan discount) or full price for that call.
Is White Knight Roadside insurance\?
No. It is a motor club membership operated by White Knight FW LLC, doing business as White Knight Motor Club. Benefits are provided as described on each plan page and in the Terms of Service.
