Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the White Knight Roadside website (wkroadss.com), the White Knight Roadside web and mobile apps, the White Knight Roadside membership plans, and the roadside assistance, towing and mobile mechanic services arranged by White Knight Motor Club ("White Knight", "we", "us"). By creating an account, joining a plan or requesting service you agree to them. White Knight Roadside is a motor club membership; it is not an insurance policy.
1. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information, including a mobile number you control. You are responsible for activity on your account and on the accounts of household members you invite. We may suspend accounts used fraudulently or abusively.
2. Requesting service
When you submit a request we dispatch it to our drivers and partner service providers. Arrival times shown in the app are estimates. Providers may decline unsafe or unlawful work, and some situations (such as off-road recovery or hazardous locations) may require additional equipment or charges, which the provider will tell you about before proceeding. Service is available across the continental United States, subject to provider availability.
3. Pricing and payment for non-covered service
- The app shows a quote before you confirm any service that is not covered by your plan. Tow pricing includes a base charge plus a per-mile rate beyond the included miles, measured from your location to the drop-off you select, with your plan's extra-call discount applied where you have one.
- When you confirm a paid request, your card is authorized for the quoted amount. You are charged only when the service is completed. If no provider can be found and the request is cancelled, the authorization is released.
- If a provider arrives and cannot locate you or the vehicle, or you cancel after a provider is on the way, a portion of the quote may be charged to cover the trip.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Receipts are emailed to the address on your account.
4. Membership plans
- Plans and billing. We offer auto and RV plans billed either monthly or annually. Each plan's benefits, covered vehicle types, number of covered calls per plan year (or unlimited), tow terms, reimbursement caps and extra-call discount are described on the plan's page and in the app when you subscribe. Your plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- Introductory offer. When an introductory discount is offered, it applies once per new member: to the first annual payment on an annual plan, or to the first 12 monthly payments on a monthly plan. The regular price applies afterwards.
- Covered calls. A covered call is one completed service request for a covered vehicle type on your plan, within the plan year that starts on the day you join. Calls cancelled because no provider could be found are not counted. Unused calls do not roll over. Calls beyond your plan are quoted and charged under section 3. Unlimited plans are intended for ordinary personal use; unusually high usage may be reviewed, but service is not blocked.
- Covered vehicles. Benefits apply to vehicles of the types your plan covers that have been added to the account. A request for a vehicle type your plan does not cover is quoted as a non-covered service.
- Tows. Covered tows go to the nearest qualified repair facility. Miles beyond that destination, and any plan-specific mileage limit, are billed at the per-mile rate shown in the app.
- Changes and cancellation. You can change plans, switch billing interval or cancel in the app at any time. Changing the billing interval re-anchors billing to that day with a prorated charge or credit. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are not refunded.
- Household members. Plans with household coverage let the primary member invite up to 4 people by email. Household members share the plan's covered calls, must accept the invitation and these terms, and cannot change, cancel or resume the plan; only the primary member can. The primary member may remove a household member, and a member may leave, at any time. Removal ends that person's coverage immediately.
5. Reimbursement benefits
- Trip interruption is included on Auto Platinum+ ($1,000), Auto Platinum Complete ($1,000), RV Standard ($1,000), RV Platinum ($1,500), RV Platinum Complete ($1,500). It reimburses reasonable lodging, meal and transportation expenses you incur because a covered breakdown left you more than 100 miles from home, up to the per-incident cap on your plan.
- Tire & wheel protection is included on Auto Platinum Complete ($500, 2 per plan year) and RV Platinum Complete ($750, 2 per plan year). It reimburses the repair or replacement of a tire or wheel on a covered vehicle that was damaged by a road hazard, up to the per-incident cap and the number of claims per plan year on your plan.
- Filing. Claims are filed in the app under Account → Reimbursement claims with the incident date, amount, description and itemized receipts. We review claims within 5 business days and may ask for more information. Approved amounts are paid by check or digital payment. We may deny claims that are incomplete, outside the benefit's scope, or fraudulent.
- Reimbursement benefits are available while your plan is active and apply to incidents that occur after you join.
6. Cancelling a request
You may cancel a request in the app at any time until the driver arrives. Cancelling before a provider is on the way costs nothing and does not use a covered call. If you cancel while the driver is en route and more than 15 minutes have passed since a provider accepted your request, a cancellation fee applies: the request counts as a used call on your plan and, for card payments, a percentage of the quoted price is charged. Once the driver has arrived, call us at 318-759-7619.
7. Insurance reimbursement packets
If your insurance includes roadside coverage, we can email you a receipt and claim letter for a paid service. We do not guarantee that your insurer will reimburse you, and reimbursement is between you and your insurer.
8. Text messages
Email and text alerts about your service requests are off by default and can be turned on under Account → Profile → Alerts. When text alerts are on, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. We may still text or email you about your account and membership.
9. Your vehicle and property
Remove valuables before a tow. Providers take reasonable care, but you should report any damage to us within 24 hours so it can be reviewed with the provider and their insurer.
10. Website and app
The website and apps are provided as is. We work to keep prices and plan details shown on the website current, but the price and benefits shown in the app when you subscribe are the ones that apply. Do not misuse the services, interfere with their operation or access them by means other than the interfaces we provide.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, White Knight's liability for any claim arising from a service or membership is limited to the amount you paid for that service or for the current membership period, whichever applies. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost time or income. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Changes and termination
We may update these terms, change plan prices or benefits for future billing periods with notice in the app or by email, or discontinue features. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Caddo Parish, Louisiana.
